After struggling to take out the fog light assembly (Seriously, it was ridiculously hard to get to the screws) my dad and I found out the bulb had completely blown up. There was lots of glass inside the cover. Have to say, didn't expect it to explode.

Halogens can be super temperamental when it comes to muck and liquid. I normally install them wearing gloves so I don't even get finger grease on them :/

Very true. I didn't wear gloves, I'm good at not touching the bulb. Speaking of liquid, there was lots of moisture built up inside the cover of the blown bulb. We dried it before putting it back on.

Good job well done then sir. Was the rubber seal ok? May be worth replacing if it happens again soon

Did you forget to top up your blinker fluid? Elementary mistake!

The seal looked ok, however the headlight covers are looking fogged over so I'm just going to go ahead and get new ones within a few months. It'll look nicer and I won't have to worry about anything.
